Description
Whilst Sam sits at home in lovely Derbyshire stitching away, Martin is often found diving in random seas. The videos he brings home, along with the tales of what he has seen inspired the making of these kits. The beautiful forms and structures, and the interconnecting way the sea bed creates its own eco-system to sustain sea life are a sight to behold. We wanted to replicate, or represent some of the forms he has seen and so we set to work to create this kit. The kit offers you the opportunity to create a sea bed of your own by following the guidance notes supplied and letting your creativity flow. Within the kit you will find: One 5 inch hoop, Two pieces of fabric (these can either be doubled up to give a stronger background or one could be used to test out the steps before the final piece is attempted), two needles – one beading, one embroidery, three rolls of floss, (all should be divided into 3 x 2 strands when you work), minimum ten types of beads (as much as we try to keep to the same beads we sometimes have to substitue beads for various reasons), guidance notes. The only additional items you require are scissors. This kit is suitable for beginners and intermediate stitchers, but the techniques are simple to learn allowing more design and creativity to follow. There are also bead refill packs available if you wish to purchase a further set. this kit is not a toy, and contains tiny parts and sharp objects, so please keep away from young children. children attemtping the kit should be supervised by an adult.
